Ed: I wanted to communicate my appreciation for another great combination hunt with Dampier Lodge in 2008. After hunting with you guys over the past couple of years, I have learned that there are four reasons that make me want to come back. (1) Ground: Dampier Lodge has been hunting the same private land for over 30 years. If you want to get a big buck, you’ve got to be where the big bucks live. (2) Guides: You won’t get a rookie guide when you hunt with Dampier’s Lodge. The guide staff have been with the lodge for several years, and they know all the “honey holes”. (3) Animals: It would be hard to complain about my October antelope hunt and November deer hunt. For both hunts, I was on “shooter” bucks within the first 15 minutes of the first day. I couldn’t believe the number of animals I saw on the property (even though we couldn’t access much of the land due to snow). It is easy to see how your hunters can go 100%.
(4) Accommodations: The accommodations, food and
hospitality have always exceeded my expectations. You really
have all the comforts of home right in the Black Hills.
